Woke up after a good nights sleep and had to get the van in for diagnostic service. I'm glad that I bought the coupon card from the BBB when I did. The diagnostic service was free. We had a bite to eat, and Scooter in his parka and harness accompanied me to the center. Since about my birthday, the van has run rough, idling rough and jerking a bit at highway speeds. Nothing seems to help, all the usual injector cleaners, additives, trying different gas etc. The diagnostic check showed no error codes, nothing came out as wrong... a spark plug was pulled to see if they were corroded or bad, and it was fine... very confusing. But, after putting it all back together and driving it home, it seemed to run better.... go figure. I hope that a loose wire was jiggled back into place or something and that will be that, we'll see.
While the technician worked, Scooter and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. The sidewalks are glazed with a thin layer of ice, hence the "shuffle". I slipped and had to catch myself many times, while Scooter did just fine.
Early busy morning, and now I'm hungry again. I'll post more later perhaps if anything of interest happens here in Brainerd, where the cardinals continue to tweet from treetops.
