Spring Rain brings Greening and New Life

Not great pictures, it is very breezy this morning, and I could not hold the camera steady, but the idea is there. It rained gently, off and on, pretty much all day and night. The air smells fresh and clean. My rhubarb is growing fast, and I am anxious to make a "crisp" with it. Chives, oregano and thyme are showing green, and soon the liatris and other perennials will be shooting up. A friend is bringing over some split off perennials from his gardens, and I will put some into the 3 small rock garden rings between the pines on the west. It is still misty and very wet outside, I was going to move 2 rock borders away from the vegetable garden to make it about 18
inches wider and longer for better row space. That will wait for another day.

Coffee tastes extra good this morning, and I appreciated the waking up for my readings and meditations. I feel as renewed as the Springtime freshness growing outside today.

I've got some running around to do today, Home Depot and JC Penneys. I need a "window treatment" catalog to order some curtains or blinds for a couple windows. Then I work this evening to closing at the store. I will enjoy that.

Charlie and Scooter are such good buddies and company for each other, that I feel better when I leave for a while. They play, I can tell by the way the toys are moved around, behave and nap together. I'm glad that they don't feel too alone when I'm gone. They are both training pretty well so far, in not jumping or getting too excited when I return too.

I'm not certain what all else I'll do today, bake bread and catch up on a few things, but I feel happy and warm with the blessings and opportunities that have been placed in my life.

Peace and Springtime Hopes for growing in more ways than one!
