I got good help from a couple buddies, and got the huge, heavy table out of the basement at the old house and into our garage where it belongs. We also got my "Virtual Knockout" machine out of the basement and set up for my 3 minute rounds.... a little sore today, but the soar-ness makes up for it.
Almost everything is out of the old place, soon no need to ever go back. Fantastic!
Last night was dance lessons, we learned some advanced two-step moves and turns, practiced our spins, butterfly, cuddles (we love the cuddles) and promenade. Lots of fun at the Eagles Lodge.
Today I got up and started a huge pork roast. Rubbed with brown sugar and spice, it will slow go until tonight when Peggy and I just can't take the aroma anymore. We'll pull it and have it on big wheat buns.. delicious. I also baked a beautiful yellow bundt cake and will top it with caramel, coconut glaze~ for snack-time at work tomorrow. I've made this one before and it is the best homemade yellow cake I've ever had.
Road trip today to Little Falls, brought the dogs and they ran in the park while Peggy took care of some business. Then we strolled around a bit and found a local coffee roaster. We had a nice conversation with him as he brewed a pot of Kenya for us to sample... good times and good stuff!
Almost the weekend, we've got lots of fun ideas... it is supposed to warm up back to Springtime again here in Brainerd!
Peace!
