Fun Springy Week of Work and Play

Nice view of our "lake" behind the backyard. Peggy is relaxing after our romp in the park with the dogs. Feet up in the wooden rocker, it is great to see the water level recede.

After putzing around this morning, we both felt like BBQ for lunch.... Famous Dave's! Thursday is "senior discount" day, so we got a great deal on some incredible lunches, coffee and split a bread-puddin'

The sky was clouding up a bit, and we had promised to take the dogs to the park.

I showed them the ball-toy and explained the rules.

They were anxious to chase the ball.

So much fun watching them run as fast as they can. Scooter knows the game, Charlie just runs and tags along, nipping at Scooter.

Scooter has put on a bit of weight this last Winter, so it is good to get him out now for some good running and walks.

The ball field is fenced in and a perfect place for long-distance fetch. Funny how there were lots of deer tracks right in the ball field. Large and small, this is probably the pair that we see crossing the street right down from our house.
We were wondering what they could possibly want in the infield.

Good exercise for us all.

This has been a busy week of clearing out the last clutter and cleaning up at the old house. It will be fantastic to have that business all done!

We may have to have a backyard bonfire soon and really kick off our Spring activities and fun. Peggy and I are always thinking of fun things to do here in Brainerd.

Life and Love are Blessed with Springtime weather and now longer daylight........

Peace!
