Trim about done, a bigger job than it looked, Red Squirrel Teases Scooter

I got an early start on painting the trim and corners of the bedroom. Not enough time to finish it today though. This is a fairly large room and with 2 windows and 2 doorways, I got all done but the bottom mop boards on 3 walls. Scooter finally had enough of me in there and came and got me, standing with his front paws on me and Told me to stop... Okay, I am hungry and need a rest anyway. Rolling the paint is going to seem like a piece of cake after this, I even vacuumed out the heat vents and as far in as I could reach into the ducts.

After lunch though, we did go for a long walk.
Through the town and then along the river and back up the hill to home. As soon as I unclipped him in the driveway, he FLEW boinging to the fence and had a red squirrel in sight.
He bounced around and even barked at it some. The squirrel chittered and did not move until we came in the house.

It is so awesome here now, 23 degrees and just now starting to have Sunset at 5:30.... longer days.. Ahhhhhh!

I'm not sure what's for supper, but I'm a hungry boy. Lots of ladder and brush work today.

I've got a good meeting tonight at 8 and then home for some reading before I hit the sack. Scooter is in my lap as I write this, nosing my hand and wrist. He gets bored when I spend most of the day working. I'll take him for a little car ride and that will make him happy.

Nothing really lucky had happened so far today, but nothing unlucky either.... Friday the 13th.... Phooey.. nothing to it.

I'll post tomorrow and try to get a picture of the Red Belly and friends if I can.
