A Keyboard Conumdrum

Weird. I figured that yesterday was "National Bubble Wrap" day, it might as well be "Clean your Keyboard" day. What a mistake. I charted first the arrangement, then carefully pried off all the keys from the board. I soaked them in sudsy water then vacuumed the base out (toast crumbs, cat hair and lint) and cleaned the corners with a q-tip. After washing and drying the keys, I pushed them carefully back into place. It turned into the Keyboard from Bizarro-land. The d was d. , the g was backspace and so on. What?

After a good meeting at the bank this morning, I went to Best Buy to get another keyboard. They sold me a wireless one, that was about the only Mac board they had. On the way home, I decided, just for heck, to check out Wal-Mart. I found a perfect replacement Mac keyboard for $12.95. I will take Scooter for a ride and return the wireless one to Best Buy and save over $65.
Then we will stop at the Library to see if a recommended book is available: "Dancin' towards the dawn".

It was minus 16 this morning although sunny and beautiful outside. I baked another loaf of bread with oatmeal, cornmeal, whole wheat flour and flaxseed. The house smells terrific.

Hungry for lunch now, and will post more later with a picture if anything exciting happens here in Brainerd today.

Peace and More!
