Bright Sunny Friday the Thirteenth

This could be a lucky day... although I'm not superstitious, things have a way of working in opposites for me... so today, many times acknowledged as an unlucky day, may be lucky for me.

The Red Bellied Woodpecker must be a pretty cool bird. I've seen them eating with chickadees, with cardinals and this morning one was on the ground in the backyard eating and pecking the ground with 4 blue jays. They were paying no attention to each other and got along as friends.
For being a large, colorful bird, the Red Belly must be a mellow sort indeed, and not afraid either of mixing in with others. I got the camera to photo, but they flew away when I opened the inside door. I'll try to get a picture or two of this kind of thing if I can.

I'm fueled up and ready to finish sanding the plaster then paint the edges and trim where I can't get with the paint roller in the bedroom this morning. I'm excited for the bright change.

It is very chilly this morning, but very sunny too. 13 degrees and frosty, I'm hoping for 20's so Scooter and I can go for a long walk. The snow levels continue to drop some and I love how garden decorations and stubble is showing through the white covering.

I'll post more later with what is accomplished or things of interest.

Peace of course and the Best of Luck on this Friday the Thirteenth
