Cozy Critters on a Snowy Morning in Brainerd

Thankfully, the "Winter Weather Alert" seems to have been canceled. We still are going to get snow, maybe lots, but the edge of a storm is off.
Funny how the pets sense the changing weather and go into a "hibernation mode". Scooter flew outside to do his thing this morning and then right back into bed. Tidbit has changed so much the last couple weeks. She has visited, not howled as much and for the first time in months, comes to bed quietly and snuggles for sleep at night. I have no idea what happened, or what she finally has realized, but it is nice to have her part of the family here instead of a grouchy outsider, stalking around, grumbling. Very nice.

The meeting last night was about the most inspirational, great meetings I've ever been to.
All are good, I leave each one having learned something about myself and feeling good. But last night was special as we described how our Spiritual Relationship developed and how it is growing, how we did it, and how we feel now. A thread of familiarity in all stories, but all different in how it happened. So very cool!

I have an appointment to get my tattoo! Next Thursday at 1 in the afternoon, I'll get the Cross tattooed on the inside of my right wrist. I am excited to mark the transformation in my life. A symbol of direction, spirituality and hope for a good life of service to mankind. I feel like the luckiest man alive to feel God's presence in my life.
I am grateful and humbled.

I work this afternoon, a short shift, but it will be good. The snow is falling pretty good and I hope the roads are clear and safe for all travelers. This winter weather is easier to take now, knowing that the end is in sight of what has been a brutal winter here. The sun rising earlier and the longer days are so mood elevating that energy, plans and wonderful thoughts are all on the rise.

I'll post more later if anything exciting happens here in Brainerd today.

Until next time..... Peace!
