Way up high, barely visible, but oh, the song!

Fabulous morning. A new day of hope, accomplishment and miracles. I've got a loaf of bread going with cornmeal, oatmeal and rye flour in the machine now, soon it will begin smelling good. I let Scooter outside and a cardinal, basking in sunlight was high in the tree across tha yard. So vibrant in the sun, it was stunning. It was whistling its tweooo, twee twee twee, over and over. Beautiful. Click on the picture to enlarge, and you may be able to see it at the top of the far tree.

The tattoo parlor opens at noon today, and I'll call to see when I can come in and get the pattern for the Cross made. I've got the day off. I roast a sirloin of pork last night and it was fabulous with sage from my herb garden. Today I will chop some left over pork and make chili for supper tonight. Pressed cheese sandwiches with cumin will accompany. I'm already drooling.

So many good things are happening in my life as I grow in my spirituality, that I am going to share the promises. I am a little delirious as I feel them happening. Truly, a new life was just waiting for me to invite it in.

"We should be sensible, tactful, considerate and humble without being servile or scraping. As God's people we stand on our feet; we don't crawl before anyone.
If we are painstaking about this phase of our development, we will be amazed before we are half way through. We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness. We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it. We will comprehend the word serenity and we will know peace. No matter how far down the scale we have gone, we will see how our experience can benefit others. That feeling of uselessness and self-pity will disappear. We will lose interest in selfish things and gain interest in our fellows. Self-seeking will slip away. Our whole attitude and outlook upon life will change. Fear of people and economic insecurity will leave us. We will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle us. We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us what we could not do for ourselves.
Are these extravagant promises? We think not. They are being fulfilled among us--sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly. They will always materialize if we work for them."

Until later, Peace!
