Today was a relaxing and reflecting day. Shortly after my 10 am meeting, my sponsor came to the house. We had coffee and talked for about 3 hours. We talked about life, the mistakes we've made and how our lives are changing for the better. Different stories and still so much in
common. The house seemed strangely more empty when he left. I made some green tea and read a while. Scooter cozied with me on the couch, while I read and thought of what to journal tonight.
I made an incredible grilled cheese sandwich for
supper and I'll have a treat of some kind later. After all the sanding and painting yesterday, I am glad I had a day off. Tomorrow, church at 8:15 then I'll probably paint the bedroom walls. As much as I don't really like to work on Sundays, it will be a nice distraction from some things.
Scooter thinks he's pretty nifty for getting on top of the snow now, the depth has gone way down and it is crusty enough on top that he doesn't sink. So much more for him to explore now.
