Some Beauty before the Blast

It is positively gorgeous outside, 35 degrees, sunny and just a hint of a breeze. Scooter was telling me to take him for a hike. We again went our normal, around town walk, and then went through Kiwanis Park and along the Mississippi. Scooter was very happy with this, the ground is not cold enough to bother his feet and there were lots of other walkers out for him to see. A couple of nice places came to mind for pictures and he posed nicely with the river in the background. I took him to Home Depot to get a ceiling light for the bedroom and the gal at the counter said it was okay to bring him in the store. He met the cashier and a stock guy. He loves making friends.

After church, which was a great old fashioned service with special music and old hymns, a buddy stopped over for coffee and a talk. He sat and pet Tanners while we chatted for about an hour.

I thought about what fixture to get for the bedroom and staying with the home theme, decided on the same light that we chose for the front entryway ceiling. I'll mount it and see if it is good looking. If it doesn't look right, I'll return it and pick another, but I hope it does. It was a good mutual choice when we picked it for the
front entrance.

I'm going to a candlelight meeting tonight at 8 with Josh. It will be a good end to a good Sunday. Now to watch a bit of the Pro-Bowl Football game and think of what to have for supper.

Tomorrow will be interesting weather-wise. If the predictions are accurate, ain't nobody goin' nowhere.

I'll post tomorrow and let you know what happens here in Brainerd.

Until then...... Peace!
