Tuesday ramblings of fun, hope and warm fuzzies

Nice to have it 16 above this morning, Sun rising earlier and all the prospects of a new day. Yesterday was a fun, kind of hustling day. I finished removing all the masking tape, carefully scraping off any dribbles of paint and vacuuming the bedroom floor when done. Laundry, littler boxes, kitchen clean up, load in dishwasher and other little duties filled the morning well. It did get warm enough for me to take Scooter for a long walk, he did not wear his boots, and the ground was still cold enough that when we got back, he was ready to come inside and warm up. I try to keep him on shoveled walks and clear areas of the streets we walk on, but the icy ground was not as warm as the air. I got a nice package in the mail. I got the Bible from son Charlie, so I can get the pattern made and a price for my tattoo. I also got "Madeline Pans" from the Left Bank Cafe~. They are cookie type sheets with indentations for a very soft, cookie dough and are used for making a French cookie treat that is like a rich cross between toffee and sugar cookies. I'll use them for the next Springtime "Girls night out" event. I also got my spaetzle press, like a humungous garlic press, it is used for squeezing out a soft pasta type dough over boiling water to make a German noodle type dish.

I work today in the receiving department at Herbergers. Bringing in all the Spring merchandise, sorting by department, and security tagging many items. Kind of fun work, and gives my mind a good rest from all that is going on. Tonight is a very good meeting of sharing and learning from others. I'll still have plenty of time at home to spoil Scooter and take care of house stuff too. It will be a very good day.

Nothing to photo as this gray day unfolds, but I'll post more later if anything of big interest happens today. I'm looking forward to a late supper after the meeting and will try to have something going in the crockpot to be ready when company comes over after the meeting.

Miracles do happen to people that believe in them!
Peace!
