The Cake is Done!

Such a good recipe.... So worth it! Rich moist yellow cake with vanilla and almond, topped with a toasted coconut caramel glaze~ All from scratch! I love my non-stick bundt pan, the cake popped right out.

Bird feeders are full, groceries are done, bread is baked and laundry is still going, but I'm almost done for the day except for relaxing and good times. I also potted 3 new plants, a Pothos Ivy thing, a Bromeliads which is a vertical thick leaved plant with an awesome red spikey flower

sticking up in the middle, and some kind of a verigated lush large leaf plant that had no name sticker... oh well, they look great and make the home a little more lively. Scooter came with me to the Gallery store downtown to look at waterbeds. I'm not ready to buy one yet, but wanted to see what was available. I did buy a cool ear ring hoop with 2 spike points and 18 sticks of good incense. Then we went to Herberger's to check out perfumes. I am leaning towards the CK "Secret Obsession". It is gingery and musk with a bit of deep wood in it... we'll have to see. Fortunately, there was a sample vial available to bring home. What a fun day!

Now to kick back, make the bed, shower and get dressed for the evening. I can hardly wait to share a piece of the cake.

Peace again and always!
