Happy St. Patrick's Day

Springlike morning, mid 30's and calm. The fog and the moon make it seem like a special day, and it is. I've got to work this morning until early afternoon. When I get home, I'll start my Corned Beef and Cabbage supper meal. Slow baking of the beef, and when it is nearly done, add the cabbage. I will also add some wedges of potato to round out the meal.

I'll have a good hearty breakfast to carry through the morning, granola and nutrition bar for break, and a big mug of good coffee for motivation as the Spring merchandise comes rolling into the store to unpack and tag. Should be a fun, fast morning. After I get the supper started, I'll take Scooter for a walk.

St. Patrick is the saint that "drove the snakes out of Ireland".. the "snakes" being the evil and false idols. How appropriate for today, and for our lives. Today I will keep good thoughts in my mind, being grateful for God's blessings.

I'll post pictures later of the dinner and St. Patrick's day fun. Wear green and be extra gracious and thankful today!

Peace!
