So excited to eat and have fun, I forgot to take pictures!

Duh! Must have been all the fresh air, must have been Spring Fever, must have been the excitement of the Corned Beef and Cabbage with Rye Bread. I was glad I remembered to bring my camera with the food. But after the meal, there the camera sat, and there was not enough left to even take a picture of. Trust me though, it was fantastic. The beef was so tender, chewing was almost optional, the big chunks of rye bread to sop up the juices was delicious too. We had big plates, mounded with the meal and a drizzle of mustard to dip the corned beef in. A very good Holiday Meal indeed. We popped in an old Sean Connery (he's Irish) movie and chowed down. I only had room for a couple of Reeses peanut butter cups for dessert. I did wake up and make Sweet Peggy a rye bread and corned beef with cheese sandwich for lunch though, there was some leftovers... not much. She had to be to work at 5:30.. such an early morning, toast and peanut butter with a glass of grape juice to get her rolling. 10 hours today in the Dialysis Clinic, she'll be off at 4.

It is hard to believe that 6 days ago it was 25 below zero. 56 degrees warmer here already this morning. Yippee! I even got a gardening supply catalog in the mail yesterday for inspiration.
Cardinals are singing, finch are at the feeders and I am feeling Spring both in my attitude and in my stride.

I went to Penney's yesterday after work, I heard that they had New Balance running shoes on sale, and I bought myself a nice pair for about 1/2 price. Something is telling me to get out and run some and clear out my "winter lungs". To break them in some, I took Scooter for a real long walk yesterday afternoon. No gloves or hat, sunny and wonderful with many people out in the park and walking the trails. It is "Spring Break" here and kids are out playing and riding bicycles. Unreal the difference a week makes, weather and attitude wise.

I've got my "home" group meeting tonight at 8, and I'm looking forward to it and seeing my sponsor there. Always an incredible, deep, sharing meeting of feelings and experience. The meetings are great to keep me feeling grateful and on track with my program and feeling God'a presence in my life.

I'm waking up with some good coffee, and will soon do my readings, prayers and meditations, then see what all the day brings.

I'll post more later, I hope with pictures of birds at the feeders or something interesting, this wonderful Spring day here in Brainerd.

Peace and More Peace!
