Icy start to an adventurous day

It is slipperier than slick outside. I got up and started the van to get the ice loose from the windows. Everything is crusted with an extremely slippery coating of ice. Walking is very difficult, let alone driving. Hopefully the snow will hold off as predicted until about noon. I will get off about 2:30 or so. School closings and delays are all around and on the news. I just want to get home and get snuggling. Plenty of food, gas for the blower and things to do as we wait for this storm to do its thing.

This is the before picture, sanding trucks out, even in my little neighborhood. I'll post more later with what I believe will be a dramatic picture of the expected snowfall. The pets seem to sense the impending weather, cats whining and Scooter still in bed. The high winds, expected to gust between 40 and 50 mph will make it even better to be cozied in.

Until later, stay safe and Peace!
