It's cold but it could have been worse!

Well, here we are the day after the storm. Brainerd got lots of snow, but not the foot-plus we were expecting from the forecast. I did not hear any real high winds, just a few breezes and winds, but not the 40-50 mph gusts that were also predicted. The darker picture was late yesterday afternoon about at its worst. The backyard is so white and pretty this morning. I'm going to have a good, big breakfast, then get out and blow out the driveway and yard for Scooter, then head across the street and blow out Chells driveway too. I think Brainerd was the only school district that started on time in the entire
region. The road crews were working hard all day
yesterday and through the night and have things pretty cleaned up already.

Last night was a great supper of left over spaghetti, green beans and spumoni ice cream for dessert. Good snuggling weather for a quiet night.

Tonight is my Wednesday meeting, which is now my home group, and I get to talk with my sponsor. I'm looking forward to it, always lots of good, deep talk, listening and learning.

Life is getting so good as we learn about each other and grow in our relationships. I feel all warm and fuzzy, trying to go slow and let God direct my life. Love of life, Love for another, Love and Acceptance for all circumstances is taking over my thoughts. I am a grateful, happy man, ready to share all.

I'll post more later if something exciting happens here today.
Until I do..... Peace!
