I love baking bread in the machine. I got up early and after some great coffee, started a loaf. I put in oatmeal, cornmeal, whole wheat flour and ground flax seed. It will be hearty, toast up great and be delicious.
My tattoo seems to be healing up fast and good. I wash it a few times a day with anti-bacterial soap and then apply a non-scented light moisturizing cream. That's all there is to it. I have been asked to tell again the significance of this tattoo.
I have had God come into my life. My spirituality is growing every day. I am grateful and humbled by all that has happened the last couple months. Son Charlie went to a spiritual seminar about a month or so ago and was presented with a Bible at the conclusion. A very similar cross was embossed on the cover of that Bible and Charlie had it tattooed on the same location. The significance is this: it is on the right arm because that is the arm extended in friendship. The positioning of the tattoo inside the arm above the wrist is to illustrate the position of hands in the service to mankind.
As a symbol of the transformation in my life, and to have a bond with Charlie, I was inspired to have it done. It was an enjoyable experience and I love the way it turned out.
I have been blessed tremendously over and over, and now understand just how watched over and protected I have been in my life. The purpose is now clear, to live a spiritual life, being thankful and opening my mind and heart to let God guide my life, practicing the principles in all my affairs. Trusting in my Faith. I have never before felt such a wonderful presence in my life.
The promises are coming true and I feel better every day. I will grow the rest of my life.
I have a 10 am meeting this morning and then a funeral for a common friend in the program... taken from us early to cancer. Then the weekend off for exploring, helping and fun work around our homes. Good food, fresh air and relaxing are also on the agenda.
I'll post more on this weekends activities later..... Peace!
