Noisy Monday Morning

It sounds like I'm living in a cat-tail covered marsh this morning. Red winged blackbirds are doing their "conk-ah-reeee! and there are woodpeckers scolding. 3 types of finch are at the feeder and other birds are pecking away at the bread crumbs I put out. Robins were welcoming the sun at 6, so I got up and started coffee.

I went to the grocery store to get a few things, and there is a crisp feel to the air. Maybe the Winter Storm is on the way? The birds sure seem to be loading up.

I want to rearrange the living room, and I'm not sure how to start. A new season deserves a new environment in the home. With the windows where they are I have a few options, and want it to be inviting and cozy. I'll be thinking about that today. I also printed out a recipe for the Madeline cookies I'll be making in April, and will do a practice bake with it soon. They are so good, an almost toffee crusted sugar cookie. I'll take a picture when I do make them. Practice makes perfect, and we can always eat the mistakes.

I may post more later, or add a picture of the red-wings if they come back to the feeders.

Until I do.... Peace and Hope!
