Up and at 'em Tuesday

Slept like a rock last night, after a fun, busy day of clearing out paperwork and junk. Just knowing it would not be below zero when I woke up was a good feeling. Just enough breeze to keep the wind chimes playing a tune, they are gently clinking away this morning. We went to a fun little China Buffet last night downtown. Very good food in an amusing family restaurant, kids playing in a back booth, and being just ruckus enough for laughs.

I've got to have a good, hearty breakfast this morning, be to work at 8:30 for the receiving department. The merchandise will not be as cold coming off the truck as last Friday either. That was painful on the hands. I'll be home a little after 2 this afternoon and will probably take Scooter for a nice walk again. He loves them so much, proudly walking with his Daddy. Tonight is a good meeting at 7 and then we'll see what happens, nice to be home an hour early, most meetings start at 8. So good to wake up feeling refreshed, energized and ready for the day. I'll fire up with some good coffee, making enough to bring a thermal mug to work, and then do my reading, meditations and prayers. I'm going to be ready for this day.

Tomorrow is a short shift on the floor, in the mens clothing department. Always fun to work directly with customers and helping with the store displays.

Then Thursday is a day off, and I'm getting excited to head to the parlor at 1 and have the Cross Tattoo put on my right wrist, marking the transformation in my life. Again, right arm, for the right arm is the one extended in friendship, and the inside of the wrist indicates the position of hands in service to mankind. Meaningful, and will be a constant reminder of my new life with God.

I may post later this afternoon or evening with "who knows what" may happen here in Brainerd today. My Heart is Dancing.

Peace!
