5:30 or so it started... a natural alarm if there ever was one. Chickadees saying "hey you", Cardinals saying "tweoooo, twee twee twee", and the new Fox Sparrows singing the blues, "twee dee do do do do". I liked the serenade and rolled over, tried not to think of anything, go back to sleep, and a train went through Brainerd blowing its whistles, the atmosphere just right for carrying the tune, sounded like it was just down the block, not the mile away it is. Oh well, might as well get up and make coffee. A light coating of frost is on the yard, but it will be sunny and 60 today.
I'm inspired to bicycle to Nisswa for a double shot of espresso today. Everything is ready except for oiling the chain. I did not put oil on it this winter because I did not want it flinging off in the living room when I rode it stationary in the fixture. I'll see if the inspiration lasts and I actually do it. Earlier in the season than I started biking the trail last year... that's a good thing.
I'm going to dice and cook up with Italian seasoning, a big chicken breast today to put into Al Fredo for dinner. Another "dinner and a movie" night with my new and very good friend Diane. Something nice to look forward to today as I putz and enjoy the Spring.
I'll post more later, and bring my camera if I do ride the trail to Nisswa and back.
May selflessness, sharing and honesty guide our day of Peace!
