The "Dog Days" of Spring

Wednesday went by quickly for some reason. Many trips outside to play, some yard work, laundry, going to the Veterinary Clinic, other stuff and then a good meeting last night, Pow, the day was over. Charlie is a very good dog. Nearly identical to Scooter in attitude, he is gentle, not "alpha", trained well, loving and hasn't done anything naughty. He follows me around like Scooter does, gives kisses and wants to be pet.
Really cool dog!

Today at 3, I get my new tattoo. I'm excited to see what the artist has come up with for the "tribal scrolling" around the Yin Yang portion.

I'm going to make some more bread this morning. The way I've been making it is so nutritious and good, that I've been going through it quickly. I also need to get more bananas and bake some more banana bread in my cast iron loaf pan.... toasted and sometimes even with peanut butter, it is a perfect afternoon treat with a cup of coffee to recharge from yard work and to "keep going" until supper. Yesterday, I was inspired to make ice cream..gelato actually. I melted an entire 12 ounce bag of good milk chocolate chips and whisked it into the warm

custard. Dense and decadent, a small scoop is plenty. I'll be baking a good meat loaf this evening for dinner having a nice meal celebrating my new tattoo and other good things in life.

Everything outside is greening up, refreshing body and soul. I'm not certain what all I'll get into today, but now I'll have my coffee, do my readings and meditations and be off to a good start for whatever else this day may bring.

Peace, and Springtime Inspirations to all!
