Another Rooster in the Henhouse

Nice doggie. Charlies owners came over and dropped him off last evening. His wife had to work late, so could not come until about 7. We let him and Scooter in the back yard to get acquainted, and they hit it off like they knew each other. Charlie is a tall, very slender Rat Terrier, and extremely well mannered and gentle. He accepted the cats visiting and pawing at him too.
He was a little stressed by the change, and shed a little bit, as is typical. The critters cozied on the couch, played together and the dogs went outside to romp in the yard a few more times before bed.

He waited turns at the food dish, for treats and is
a real love. I lifted him onto the bed after Scooter, and he curled up, sighed and slept with Scooter, Tanners and Tidbit by my knees. So far, appears to be a very good dog and a perfect gentleman. Brown and white, his markings are very similar to Scooter, and while a bit lankier, can not keep up with Scooter racing around the yard. Scooter is buff from all his walks and play.

Now for some coffee, my readings and meditations to get my day and life started on the right track.

This morning at 9, I need to take Scooter to the vet clinic for a blood test and to get his flea and tick treatments. Then I don't know what all mischief we'll get into, but some yard work and other fun will happen for sure.

I will post later with some pictures of it all if I can.

Until then..... Peace!
