Garden work?.... brrrrrrr

From sunshine and getting a rosy skin glow working in the yard one day to cloudy and 39 today. I will plant some of the lilies around the yard today in the Saturday chill. I'll wear a few layers to keep warm for sure and have a big breakfast of fried potatoes, eggs, toast with peanut butter and marmalade, vitamins and juice to fuel the morning. The coffee tastes great this morning too... a Velvet Hammer blend from European Roasteries. I'll lightly water the seeds I planted the other day too... should be seeing sprouts soon.

My neighbors across the way are having a large party this afternoon and evening, I think I was told that about 180 invitations were sent. Law enforcement class from Central Lakes College, friends and the security dept from the college are among the anticipated attendees. We'll have to pop over the fence to join in the fun...If the weather stays the way it is now, I think the planned bonfire will be a big attraction... nice to have that to look forward to for a Saturday night.... Woo Hoo.

We worked at the Soup Kitchen last night, serving needing people a great dinner, good fun and service. I got a few bags of old bread that they were going to throw away to crumble up and give to the birds in my yard, so far the bluejays and blackbirds are the ones feasting this morning.

I'll post more later with some pictures perhaps of the lilies I plant and whatever other mischief we get into today and tonight.

Until then, may we all feel good Peaceful and Honest direction in our life choices today!
