Gusty Lawn Mowin' Day

Beautiful morning... about 70 with strong gusts of wind, birds are singing and the lawn is mowed. I put gas in the ol' Yard Man mower and it started first pull. There is no right way to mow the back yard with the rounded gardens in their places, but it is a fun exercise. I used the string trimmer to go against the borders and rocks to make them more distinct, and I like how it looks. Now for the yellow patches to fill in. A bit of rest in the rocker by the fire pit, have a banana, and then begin raking, declumping and smoothing the vegetable garden. I am going to put in one row of Blue Lake Bush green beans today too. I just can not resist.

Perfect weather for a deep nights sleep. With the furnace finally able to rest through the night, the cool air made for a good cozy night.

Except for when I had the mower going, the dogs have been outside playing and sunning all day. Such good company. Today seems extra quiet and peaceful, with the just sound of strong wind gusts and my chimes to soothe.

I just got in and have planted a row of Green Beans, Detroit Beets, some Summer squash and Radishes.... just got going and couldn't stop.

I'm not certain what else I'll get into today, except a long shower when I'm done, but I may post more later if anything of interest happens.

Until I do.... enjoy Spring, breathe deeply and feel the calm Peace!
