Robin nest at the front of my house

Not a real big deal, but pretty cool. I was picking up sticks and stuff from the front lawn and a big robin was peeping at me... it didn't fly away, instead while peeping flew to the evergreen, an arborvitae I think, and went into a nest it was building. Almost as if saying "see what I'm doing?".

Yesterday was a fun trip to St. Cloud. Always a hoot to go through Sam's Club.. such massive quantities and large packages of stuff along with deals on just about everything else. I just got coffee, bananas and dried fruit, but was tempted to go over budget on "institutional size" products.... I resisted. I did not resist my appetite though and went to Chipotles Restaurant for a shoebox sized pork burrito.... went to a picnic park and ate the whole thing.... they are fabulous.

It is a beautiful morning, about 50 outside and sunny. A thunderstorm or 2 is predicted for this afternoon. I work a short shift on the floor this afternoon and to closing. Some yard work today, mostly just to be outside and look at all the new growth, admire my ready vegetable garden and sod work. I put my hummingbird feeder of nectar out and will be looking for them to appear, while the "decoy" huge dragonflies cruise through the yard.

I may post more later, if anything of interest happens today in Brainerd.

Until I do.... Peace of course, and may your Spring Day be blessed with good direction.
