Another Big Success

Too much fun in the kitchen! I'm grilling shish-ke-bobs. and it smelled so good, onions and the sweet marinade made the whole store smell like a restaurant. The Blueberry Bread

Pudding came out perfect in the convection oven. It got lots of raves, rich and sweet with a caramel glaze~ soaked in after it came out of the oven. The crowd began coming about 5 and we served sample plates to well over 150 by 7:00, and probably a total of around 180. All the "Girl's" come by to enter the thousand dollar give-away contest and sample the fabulous food, then hang around asking questions about cooking, recipe hints, rave about how delicious everything is and look around at the wonderful displays of appliances. It was nice to look up and see Sweety come in to enjoy the fun too.
Oh Yeah! I've still got it in the kitchen!

Tomorrow a short shift in the morning, working in receiving
and then the rest of the day to kick back some and see what

action is going on at the rummage sale. I hope the weather is good for it... Quite a rain storm blew through about 9:00 tonight, but not bad in the Brainerd area from what I saw. A period of good lightning, thunder and heavy rain sure soaked the ground and roads though.

I've got all my stuff put away from the event, time to relax and be grateful that everything went so well... and to be grateful for all the Blessings in life.

Until tomorrow..... Peace!
