Moist Monday!

Everything got watered real good yesterday. It was a nice sunny morning for church, then the clouds came in. Sprinkles led to rain and lots of it. We were fortunate to have had such a sunny warm day for our rummage sale Saturday. Church was great, the 3 of us went first to Trinity Lutheran, then to my backyard for coffee and a little visit, then to the more gospel music type service at Journey North where the service was based on Father's Day. Good stuff.

Outdoor activities were put on hold as the drizzle was mixed with periods of rain.... we must have gotten well over an inch total. No lightning,
thunder or wind made for just a good yard and garden soaking which is what we all needed, although the dogs all got soggy in the long wet grass. The clouds are supposed to break this late morning, hopefully the yards will dry so I can mow them both. The heat and water has made them grow so quickly the last couple days, I'll have to raise the mowers a notch for this cutting.

Company left yesterday about 4 after a few days of good visiting, sharing, rest and fun. It was nice to meet more family for me. Saturdays rummage sale was a hoot for all of us.

We snuggled in last night with big chocolaty coffee drinks and watched a very good action flick, "Taken" with Liam Neeson. 2 big thumbs up! A great end to a week of vacation filled with countless fun times. We already wish that we could do it ALL all over again. 10 days of Romantic fun times, too many to count. Dreams coming true.

Now to get back into reality (a little) and catch up on yard work, grocery shopping, paperwork and Life, and Life is Good! We have been so blessed, the Promises are indeed coming true in our lives.

Until later, maybe with beautiful pictures of mowed lawns and sunning doggies..... Peace!
