Hoo-Boy for fun stuff! Yesterday was perfect for a nice road trip. Cloudy with a few sprinkles for the drive, sunshine and warm when we got there for visiting. We brought good party food for lunch, scalloped red potatoes, pasta salad and Peggy made a yummy rhubarb cake. The rhubarb was absolutely crimson red, it was so delicious that one piece was not enough. Good 55th Anniversary celebrating and lots of fun visiting and looking at the gardens.
I had to splurge a bit and get a trailer for the new bike. Again, this was a "last years" model so I got an incredible deal on it. A hard plastic floor for

support and easy cleaning, a large cargo hold in the back, screens and plastic windows that roll up if it gets rainy... perfect for hauling the doggies around on the trails as we ride. A swivel hitch makes riding with it a breeze, and it rolls true and nice. I hooked it up and took Scooter and Charlie for about a 2 mile ride last night to test it out. They sat pefectly in their bed, which sits right inside and seemed to enjoy the ride. I can tell that my legs work a bit more pulling it, but at the speeds we travel, it should work out just right. Maybe I'll get bigger leg muscles from it though.
2 releases inside the back allow the spring struts
to collapse as it folds down for transport.. a real

good unit! I'll have to pack more good energy food for our rides now.
Catching up on some housework this morning, laundry and run the dishwasher, check out the gardens and a few other things. Later we will drive up to Cross Lake and check out the campgrounds and recreational area. Then we will make some more fun plans. Maybe we will have some company this afternoon too, we'll know more later. Summer is in full swing now, there is just so much fun stuff to do, and it is all wonderful!

Life and Love are very good as we enjoy this new Summer season of both blossoming with lots of relaxation and fun. I may post more later with pictures of what we do today....
Until next time.... Peace!
