Warm Sunny Wednesday On The Way

Oh Yeah!.... cool 55 this morning, perfect sleeping weather. Scooter and Charlie jumped into bed and do not want to get up yet, the cats ate and then went back to sleep on the couch... I am up after a long deep slumber. Peggy and I went to the park last evening and hit tennis balls back and forth for about an hour.... exercise and laughter... so much fun. There was a church picnic going on in the park too, and it was great to see so many families and little kids racing around, playing games and enjoying the cool evening.

Today it is going to clear and get up to the 70's..
perfect for mowing our lawns. We didn't get to making the Italian Sausage Pasta last night, so I'll make it today after getting the yards nice, for a good supper. Whole wheat penne pasta, some oregano from my herb garden and good spice to make it very special for Sweety.

The gardens are hitting full stride, even with the cool morning temperatures. The zuchinnis in my front yard have a few blossoms coming, we're anxious to have them for salads and other dishes.
They are best eaten when about thumb size... tender and sweet. The green beans are coming, green tomatoes are on the vine and cucumbers are growing tiny little cukes at the base of the blossoms.

Brainerd is getting ready for the 4th!... parade route claims are being staked out already, and many flags are flying. We'll be watching the fireworks Saturday night from the street in front of my house... many neighbors set their chairs right out front for some of the best viewing in town.

Summer fun with many Blessings and Special Times!

Time for a hearty breakfast, bake some bread, and get ready to mow... Peggys yard will look awesome when she comes home from work.

Peace!
