What a Birthday!.... What a Racket!

Whew.... awesome Birthday yesterday. Peggy surprise visited me with my card and present. A Wilson tennis racket, and a beautiful card.... romantic and wonderful. A U.S. Open model, hybrid construction for good energy, and a can of tennis balls. Now look out! We were going to hit the courts last night, but the weather had different ideas. It showered, got clear, rained, got breezy, over and over all day and evening. The courts get too slippery to safely play, so we will have to try this baby out some other time. I got phone calls from my Son and Daughter, a surprise serenade at work with chocolates, and other special delights that made me feel fantastic for getting a "year better".

I got both our lawns mowed today after work, Sunny and warm out, they look great. Scooter and Charlie love the short grass and are napping in the Sun after playing fetch. A good gal brought into work, some zucchini bread for a morning snack and it was real good. Took our minds off the Autumn merchandise we were unloading.

The taco salad was perfect last night for a Birthday feast, muskmelon for dessert with vanilla ice cream.... Oh Yeah!

Fun day so far, and we will be doing special things tonight also. Tomorrow we will be heading out on an adventurous road-trip. We'll be taking some scenic pictures through the day. Good food, snacks and fresh air to enjoy our time, being together and seeing what is put before us. A long weekend to share.

Every day brings more Blessings and Peace!
