It started to sprinkle, the sky got gray and it was very cool outside yesterday afternoon.... we chose to canoe on Rice Lake another day, so no pictures of "our mischief". The Crow Wing County Fair in in full swing now, we're sure everyone there appreciates that the weather is not scorching. The town seems busier with the Fair up and running, the store had a lot of customers yesterday while I worked too. I picked a bowl of green beans, some cucumbers and zucchinis to share, they are doing very well, and the pepper plants are really starting to produce. Everyone's tomatoes are "on hold" without the heat.
Days are "cool" in other ways too.... "cool" as in awesome. So many good things happening in our lives. It seems everyday brings a miracle or two, encouraging and energizing... oh yeah!
This evening we may walk through the Fair and grab some treats, visit and look at displays. We both enjoy looking at the 4H displays and other crafts. Maybe a ride or two?.... we'll see.
The dew is heavy this morning, the sun is bright, but I could see my breath as I went out in the yard with the dogs to enjoy my coffee. They threw up a spray as they raced around and slid sideways as they cornered, chasing each other. Fun to watch and a good start to the day.
We are getting excited for our road trip weekend, visiting and having fun doing some helpful things.
County Fair time, cool nights for cozy sleeping, gardens growing, always fun things to do here in Brainerd. Life and Love are soooo good.
