Fun Road Trip and some Romantic Magic

Great weekend! We left Friday afternoon and had good weather and scenery the whole way, and all weekend long. So nice to help with household chores and projects.... the new babies room is coming along very good indeed, and getting other things fixed up and ready too. We went to Dunn Bros. Coffee Saturday afternoon for treats.... gelato and good drinks for a break, some shopping for supplies and back to work.... so fun. Church Sunday morning was early and nice, a refreshing cool day and start to doing more things around the house. We made an awesome vegetable pasta dish for dinner, just what we needed to recharge. We had to pose for a picture in the backyard when done. All kinds of work and projects completed made for a very fun, satisfying trip. A good drive home with the setting Sun, and most traffic heading the other way.... Nice to be back in Brainerd.

Romantic Magic: My Son Charlie proposed on Sunday, and She accepted! Luring her to their old High School auditorium, he got her on stage, had friends turn on spotlights and start music, got on his knee and asked "the question"..... She said "Yes".... how cool is that? I'll be a Father-in-Law. We are so happy for the both of them. Exciting Times for sure!

A sunny Monday morning for the start of another week, some work, projects, and lots of fun activities coming. The State Fair is starting soon, and we'll be heading to that next week, oh boy!
Life and Love are Blessed... so many good things happening in our lives, oh yeah!
