Another Frigid Day in Brainerd

Again, arctic temperatures... minus 27 when I woke up. Toast with honey and a hot cup of coffee tastes extra good. I rolled the trash to the street and the plastic wheels on the hard snow sounded like steel scraping on steel rails. No wind, thankfully, chimney smoke is going straight up. The dogs went out to do their business and quickly ran in and burrowed in their quilt.

It is predicted to get above zero though later, maybe 8 degrees, that will be a relief, and the Sun is out. The streets and intersections are hazardous with black ice and very slick. I'm going to venture out later and pick up a love seat for the living room.... very nice.
Some household stuff, picking up catching up on cleaning is on the agenda. Good day for it!

Watched the Vikings cream the Giants yesterday, and the team looked like they are back and having fun with the game again.

Wearing lots of layers, staying warm and keeping busy here in Brainerd, we all are feeling watched over and blessed.

Peace!
