Wild Ones in the House!

Amazing what a warmer day, being outside and fresh air will do.... stir things up is what. It is 22 outside, just a little breeze and the Sun is shining. Going out in the back yard with the dogs, they ran, played and sniffed around not in a hurry to get back in the house... it's been many days since it has been this nice out. After their treats and a drink, the play continued. Mr. Kitty sits in a chair like he had nothing to do with it, but I suspect he instigated the whole affair. It was like All Star Wrestling. Charlie really has a "game face" when it comes to this, usually he is very calm and gentle looking, but when the play gets rough, he looks like a monster.


Scooter has his techniques and runs under Charlie and flips him, spins around and gets his licks in too. A riot to watch!

Did a bit of running around today, the roads were very slippery with the Sunshine melting a bit of the black ice. Slow going, there was a pickup truck totally stuck in it's lane just trying to start up a very gentle slope after waiting for a train.

Bluejays were at the suet this morning, I've not seen them for a few days.... nice to see. Small
woodpeckers and chickadees have been the only customers for a few days.

This warm spell is forecast to stay a few days, really nice, maybe it is our "January thaw"? Peggy was even thinking of having a small bonfire out back... that would be nice.

Prayers and best thoughts of Recovery and Hope for growing strength continue to go to Baby Hazel.
