April Showers in March

Nice to have the warmer temperatures, but geesh, the yard is soggy. It began drizzling last evening and we will have showers or rain off and on for the next few days.

Mr. Kitty curled up by my arm this morning for a snooze with me and then stayed in bed. He is so cute. I think he is feeling lazy today.






Scooter and Charlie are feeling the same way. They didn't want to stay out long with the slushy, mushy yard and quickly came in for their treats then piled back into their quilt. Charlie flips up the quilt and nuzzles underneath. He is in there somewhere. Scooter likes to lay against him on top. I think they are anxious to run around the yard in the Sun when it dries out there. Makes me feel lazy just to watch them.

We had a great supper last night, big salads and chicken parmesan over rice. Healthy and light, it had just enough spice to make us glow.

Some running around today, fun stuff, clearing out and organizing at the old house, and then..... Dance Lessons tonight. Peggy and I are excited for this evening.... swing dancing at the Eagles Lodge! So much fun, a nice night out in the middle of the week.

I'll be baking bread today and may start a pot of soup too.. good things to do on a rainy day.

We are feeling so Blessed, Life and Love continue to grow here in Brainerd!
