Taking advantage of the early Spring feeling weather

Another wonderful weekend with unexpectedly warm sunny weather! Peggy and I had fun all day Saturday, straightening the basement, doing some cleaning and lots of fun running-around.
We finished the evening with a long walk in the starlight and Moon, all around the neighborhood. Very relaxing and nice.

After early church yesterday, we picked up the house and got ready for company. A few groceries were picked up for the affair. It was our Birthday celebration for Peggy's soon-to-be 3 year old grandson Gage.

I marinaded the steaks for a few hours in a light teriyaki, tamari, and olive oil blend. We planned our salad and were ready to show off the beautiful Red Wing bowl Peggy got from Katie for Christmas. It all fit together perfect and with a whipped concoction of sweet potato, white potato and rutabega with butter, salt and pepper (rutamoose), we had a great feast! Gage thought it was funny that we had a big muffin with 3 candles BEFORE his actual birthday.

All of us had been out shopping earlier, and it was fun to browse the toys with him while the "girls" looked at shoes! Gage had to show me how a few toys worked.

Gray today, heavy fog earlier, but anything is better than the minus 20's we've had. This should be a grand week combination of work, play, relaxing and coziness.

Life and Love are Blessed and Good..... guided and learning something new everyday!

Peace!
