Getting ready for and having a Great Easter

Last week was a hoot to say the least. Arranging the house for company, outside fun with the dogs and going for walks, menu idea fun and great weather all came together.

We took the dogs again to the park for "tuggy-ball" fetch. A bit overcast, but it was warm and the air smelled like Springtime. Mooshy ground made running fun and Scooter loved having this toy back for his games.

We are going to move our bedroom upstairs and do some shifting around in our home. This weekend was a perfect try-out with company
using the downstairs while Peggy and I "camped" upstairs.. this is going to be a fun change.

Company started coming Friday night, more on Saturday and the whole crew was here for dinner on Easter.... 4 generations of family, ham and beef roasts smoking on the Weber, oven and fridge full of great Easter Feaster, including homemade frozen custard ice cream.

We hid eggs and a basket outside for the hunt, snacked and had coffee in the perfect weather.
Sidewalk chalk art on the driveway, blowing bubbles, great conversations and food made a great family get-together. It was really nice to have 7 of us sitting together in church too... we took up the whole pew!

Done completely at the old house now, sold, signed, done, done, done... nice relief. Now with the backdoor and deck project, new garden ideas and other activities can be all done with more fun and energy.

Son Charlie will be visiting next weekend, we're looking forward to that. We'll have to think of something great to do on the Weber. Lots of fun things to do and talk about, we love company.

Life and Love are Blessed more and more this Spring in Brainerd....

Peace!
