More birthday presents showed up for Easter. After charging up the battery pack, it was time for racing up and down the driveway. Gage learned how the controls worked immediately and had a blast. Soon there was a ramp and jumps and other "boy stuff" going on with the monster truck.... great Springtime fun!

What a day, the Sun came out and it got warm enough for just shirtsleeves. It was also really nice to be out getting fresh air and running around after the big meal. We all rummaged around in the garage, sorting through some stuff, trying to find homes for some of it all... lots of laughs and good times.
Peggy's grandson Gage had a ball searching for Easter eggs and ran around with his basket searching the bushes and grass for the prizes.
He held still long enough for this picture though...

Glad we had rearranged for the meal, we all fit around the table after putting the leaf in. The food was fantastic, and we dug in heartily after our Easter Grace.
Peggy's sister brought Swedish Limpa bread and some finger rolls..... fantastic!

Waldorf salad with toasted walnuts, deviled eggs, smoked beef roast, smoked ham, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole with water chestnuts and bacon, and all sorts of other good treats were passed around for the feast.
A few moans and groans after dessert, then we went out in the yard for the egg hunt and just hung out visiting.
So thankful for family get-togethers, sharing and enjoying all the visiting. A 3 year old boy running around makes it all even more fun! Wow!
More grateful than ever for Love, Life and Blessings in Brainerd.......
Peace!
