I got my grocery list done for tomorrow night, and Scooter and I went off to Super One. They had no satisfactory cakes for my Spumoni Triffle, so I bought 2 mixes to bake, oh well, a little more to do tonight. I still got it.... I rang up at $14 under my estimate for cost. I brought in all the stuff and it is really nice outside. I put Scooters Parka on and back up the ladder I went. I got off the last big pieces of the Ice Dam. The sunshine and slight melting underneath made it easy to break and loosen to slide off the roof with the hammer and big screwdriver. Whew! I'll never let that happen again, and keep a watch on that part of the roof every time it snows to keep it clear. Ice dams and inside water damage are not an option at this time, for sure. I've got the Swedish sausages cooked and will now sort and pack the groceries for tomorrow, then bake 2 moist French Vanilla cakes. Tomorrows event is coming together. Time for some good coffee and something funny on TV for background noise while I chat to Scooter and get to work.
Maybe more later this evening on what else can happen here in Brainerd... Peace!

Ice dams? Very bad. I did a bit of googling to find out how to tackle them.“don’t let them happen!!!” That’s great advice;
One site recommended filling a pantyhose leg with sodium chloride, laying that over the dam, and letting it melt a channel so water could escape.
