The cardinals flew away as I opened the door, but it is gorgeous outside here today. The temperature and humidity must be just right, because I can just about watch the hoarfrost forming. Everything will be frosted soon I think.
Cakes are baked, lists are complete and boxes ready. It smells Earthy and good in the kitchen as I precook partially the red potatoes to cut into wedges, marinate in olive oil, garlic and herbs to grill. I washed my Chef's coat and have I think everything ready for "Girls Night Out". I've got to go and ask my buddy Chell to come over a couple times this afternoon and evening to let Scooter out and sit with him a few minutes. They do enjoy each others company, and Chell has never had a cat come up and lean on him before, Tanners will do that. Chell thinks that is amazing. He gets such a kick out of that happening the every time he comes over. I've got the camera charging up to take pictures of this event, and will post some later tonight or tomorrow morning.
I think I'm going to give Scooter a bath tomorrow. He's not really dirty, but romping a few nights with Neishkons the Alaskan Husky, he's had some slobber and lots of rolling around, in and outside. It will make him feel special and good, which he is!
I may post late tonight with some of what all happens today and evening in Brainerd, and Girls Night Out. Until then.... Peace!

Pladits on a successful girls night out, in advance. Wish I was there, to taste the delicious food, and to watch the ladies vie for your attention.
