Monday to get things done, and not think too much

One last "before" picture of the bedroom before I roll the Divine Pleasures on the walls. After hand brush painting the bottom woodwork edges, I needed a little easier way. The varnish of the wood is up on the walls a little, so the paint flows down on top of the wood. I'll be able to easily scrape it off with a sharp tool, but I don't want to do that for every wall. I found my masking tape and made a nice edge along the bottoms of the walls, finished hand painting and am now about to roll.

Scooter and I went to the grocery store to get a few items for tonight's dinner and dog food. Scooter loves Beniful. I got my pecan pie and the stuff for homemade chocolate gelato.
I melted unsweetened baking chocolate and whisked it and the cream together for the base.. it is in the freezing machine now. It will be awesome on top of the pie.

In putzing around down in the basement, I found an old bag of stale sunflower seeds. I put them in the hanging tray. The chickadees want nothing to do with them, but the nuthatches are carrying the seed off. Good use for them.

After rolling the walls, I'll shut the bedroom door and do some vacuuming and cleaning for tonight.
I've got some reading to do, and some paperwork too. I read this morning when I got up at 6, nice quiet time to meditate and actually try not to think about what all is going on.

I'll take pictures and post more later of the walls, company and dinner.... nice to be able to look forward to something on a gray Monday, at least it is 25 out.
