Another fun little project

It's a mess and ain't very pretty, but it will be cool when it is done. The old medicine cabinet was leaning against the garage to throw away. I got inspired. I removed the mirror door and will refinish it. It was too big and really ugly in the bathroom. I need a mirror facing the front door for Feng Shui. I'm going to scrub it well, degrease whatever accumulation is on it. Then I'll paint it a nice brown to match some woodwork in the house and lightly go over it again with hints of a lake water blue. The frame has some broken areas, small pieces gone, and will decorate over them with something Minnesota, maybe fishing lures or birds of some kind.

The main course of the day though is food. I've got a lot of prep work to enjoy. Dicing, slicing, simmering, poaching and more to get ready for tomorrows event. I've got a nice loaf of bread going already, and put in, with the normal additions, buckwheat flour for some extra protein and nutrition, I have a feeling I'm going to need it.

Late yesterday afternoon, Tidbit climbed up onto the back door handle, unlatched it and escaped. I was eating supper, and thought that someone came in. I caught a glimpse of her jumping the fence and running away. About 10:30 last night though, as I was letting Scooter out for the last time, there she was howling to get back in, thank goodness. She hasn't been outside since February when she waited and bolted out the front door when I came in from blowing snow. She was out for about 15 seconds, realizing it was minus 20 out. I'll be more careful to turn the handle to the "child proof" position from now on.

My coffee tastes excellent this morning, and I've done my readings and meditations to get my day off to a serene start. I slept like a log last night, and didn't stir until the sun was rising.

I may post later with food accomplishments or if anything interesting happens today.

Until I do may Peace be with you.... more to those that need it....
