A drab 40 day outside so far.. but noisy!

I was hoping to wake up and having it be 8 o'clock or so, but the birds were making so much noise, I got up at 6. Blackbirds, cardinals, chickadees and red-wings were all singing and scolding. I made waffles this morning and had them with the leftover marscapone, peanut butter and tropical fruit cocktail. I need to recharge! The days of planning, prepping food and cooking Thursday night wiped me out. I don't like feeling as though my eyes are drooping, but they were.

I went out with a friend last night for huge burgers, fries and a molten chocolate dessert last night for fun. Nice to have a meal prepared for
me.

The yard looks nice even though it is cloudy, the rhubarb is pushing up a bit more too. It is cold out, but the neighbor kids are out playing ball in the backyard with their dog, Lucky. Such a nice reunion having them back at the fence visiting with Scooter and me. Again, every time I got to the window with the camera to photo the flock of activity at the feeders, they flew away. Downy and Red-bellied woodpeckers were there too. One good thing about the clouds is that Scooter can recover from the "overdoing it in the Sun" that happened 2 days ago... he got a little pink under his white fur... not a sunburn, but definite pink. A sure sign that Spring is here to stay now. I am charging my Suzuki battery to get that up and running, I'll need to get new license plates now. I feel like a ride.

I'll eat well today, catch up on rest, and take my vitamins. I did not realize until yesterday afternoon just how wiped out I was from the huge "Girl's Night Out" event, and other activities.

I'll post more later maybe if anything exciting happens today, I almost hope not...

Until I do though, may Peace be with all!
