Great Springtime Fun

I've been out and about enjoying Springtime fun and haven't posted for a few days... so here goes...

Activities... lots of them, almost too much fun. Kayaking is such a great way to explore a lake. Loons swam nearby, turtles plopping into the water as we paddled close to shore and lots of good sunshine. Rice Lake was perfect for a morning excursion. Bicycling the Paul Bunyan Trail in the evening was awesome, cool enough to wear a jacket, not many gnats, great scenery and a fun late supper ended a day of real Minnesota stuff.

Crow Wing State Park for a camping adventure was next. Scooter and Charlie are good camp dogs and played while tethered all around the
site. Again loons serenaded while the campfire burned. Good simple camp food, smores and hiking filled the days. Lots of rain for tearing down camp, packing up and heading back to civilization was a wet, fun way to end.

A road trip was next with again, lots of scenery and visiting. Treats and coffee on the road, good times and talk.

Now it's time to switch into the "Chef Mode". I am finishing my grocery list and getting supplies for hosting "Girl's Night Out". Tomorrow evening will be a hoot as I prepare and serve Minnesota
Summer treats for about 150 women as I showcase the wonderful state of the art kitchen at Schroeder's Appliance.

Catching up on laundry, getting ready for a rummage sale and taking time to relax and enjoy will fill today.

I'll be taking pictures of the Girl's Night Out event to post here tomorrow night and all the "food fun". A week full of great times to enjoy and share, for sure. It doesn't get any better than this.

Until later..... Peace!
