Beautiful Week

It was a perfect morning... about 50 degrees, calm, Sunny and just right. The garden is putting out vegies like mad, so we made plans for an awesome pasta dinner tonight. I worked a shift in receiving, and after running a few errands, came home and blanched the skins off some tomatoes as the fresh picked peppers cooked in olive oil with a big purple onion.... smells fantastic all through the house.

Not wanting the fun to end, after the Fair, we went for a long motorcycle ride Wednesday evening, as the Sun was setting, and then into an almost full Moon with a clear sky. It was great, a little chilly,
so we stopped for hot coffee drinks at Caribou on the way back.. yum!

Yesterday, I had the entire day off, and used it at a nice pace to get some things done. I mowed both our lawns, trimmed Peggy's up nice and now they look so good for this time of year. Scooter and Charlie kept me good company in the yard, and we had many rousing games of fetch. We went out last night, cruised around town, and then picked up some good treats for a late supper. Still tired from all the walking at the Fair, we watched a bit of a movie before calling it a night. The full Moon was clear and perfect for
us.

I've got some hearty bread going in the machine for our weekend toast, and have picked some tarragon, basil and rosemary to put into the sauce. This is going to be a great Friday supper to kick-off a very special weekend!

Labor Day Weekend is here, and we've got lots of good ideas for fun and adventure, with Sunday being extra, extra wonderful!

It doesn't get any better than this!

Peace!
