Cold but Pretty End of December Morning

A bit below 10, light flurries, gorgeous outside. I've got a loaf of bread baking, smells great. A big pot of chicken soup simmering, smells even greater. The dogs didn't want to stay out long, a few laps and in they came, burrowing under their quilt.

Late yesterday afternoon, we went for a long snowmobile ride. Bundling up, fresh gas and oil, a cup of hot coffee, and off we went. East onto the trail and then further east on the snowmobile path. Nice to ride with the setting Sun. Almost a full moon shining on the fresh snow, it was a beautiful ride.

Chicken and tortillas with cheese for a warming supper before heading out for some good visiting.
Good Winter Times.

Mr. Kitty climbs up on top of the shelf unit to peruse his domain. The view must be great with the Christmas lights, he mellows out up their and watches over the other pets.

Great time of year to reflect. Top news stories for the year on special tv shows, weather stories and the anticipation of a new decade.

2009 has been an awesome year of Love, Life and Adventures. A nice New Year's Eve is planned with oyster stew, treats and relaxing. A few resolutions are rattling around, nothing too major as it would be hard to improve how things are now!

We'll see what mischief we can get into on New Years Day.... whatever we do, it will be awesome!
