Mr. Kitty, the boss, got into the Christmas wrapping stuff and played furiously with a silver bow. He batted it, carried around the house in his mouth like it was a cherished prize, and to him it was. Hilarious! All the other pets watched and took turns trying to wrestle it away.
The "after" picture, when all was done, for now

with snowfall. All blown out, sidewalks done, time for play.
Scooter and Charlie love running in the backyard paths. Doing their "business" and chasing each other is so good for them in the fresh air.
We got about 10 inches to a foot of nice white snow.
We pulled the Polaris out and got it started. A really nice machine.

The dogs watched from a safe distance, probably wondering if there was going to be another trailer or if they were going for a snowmobile ride. Not today.

Peggy piloted the sled and tested it up and down the street, then went east and found the hook-up to the trail system. I got on back and she took me for a nice ride back in the woods, on the clearly marked snowmobile trail. Beautiful scenery.

Later in the day, we fired it up again and I drove it around some. We went back on the trail, Peggy drove it out and I drove it back. Nice to see a group of others out, heading the other way, and Peggy told me about the signal system used to let others know how many are running behind the lead.... clever! Brisk, fresh air, beautiful scenery, and a setting Sun with the Moon rising... great afternoon activity.

I got for Christmas, from Peggy, a kit for an Amaryllis plant. Today we assembled the pot with special soil mixture, the well rooted bulb, and then the moss on top. Very nice!
We watered it and now to watch it grow and blossom.

It looks kind of alien-like now, but soon will be tall and green with buds.
Nice to have the Sun out today, a bit of a breeze and no sign of more snow for now.
I'm making another batch of chocolate truffles to bring into work tomorrow. Melting the white coating for the luscious balls.. oh yeah!
Tonight I'll roast a big chicken, simple and good, and we'll have nice leftovers for sandwiches and snacking. Fabulous Holiday Times!
Calls from family, still getting cards in the mail, cookies and other treats to keep the Spirit going!
Life and Love are Blessed!
Peace!
