New Years Eve!

mmmMMMM, the chicken soup last night was nothing short of phenomenal! Wide egg noodles, vegies, garlic and herbs in the broth.... warming and delicious, hard to stop eating it with fresh homemade bread for dipping.

Cold here this morning, 3 with a stiff breeze for -11 chills. At least the Sun is out, making everything look cheery.

Oyster stew is on the menu for tonight, the store got in a load of big fresh oysters, and I'll make a traditional stew with a few potatoes, finely diced carrots and a bit of onion. We may go out for a late afternoon snowmobile ride in the brisk air.... fun! It's great to have the trail so close. I adjusted the suspension yesterday so it will be a bit stiffer for 2 riders... oh yeah!

Not just the end of a year, the end of a decade. We enjoy the special programming on top stories, celebrities, and humorous perspectives of the past. We'll be cozied in and celebrating our own way for sure.

2009 has been a year of miracles, blessings and wonderful adventure. We're looking forward to 2010, feeling younger, more adventurous, healthier and growing together in our Closeness and Faith.

I may post more later with some pictures, who knows?

May your celebration be merry, may you be safe, may your New Year be Blessed!

Peace!
