Peggy is holding some of a set of Christmas ornament balls she received from her Mom. Her Mom had crocheted lace and decorations over them.... cool, and a fuzzy reindeer looks on.
We were both in the mood for Chinese Friday night, so went out to a nice buffet... delicious. Saturday we went shopping and out for a late breakfast, then home to do some cooking for our road-trip. Sunday we visited with family, shared a nice meal, brought Scooter and Charlie and had a real good time.
Waking up to almost 3 inches of new snow, I got to use the snow blower for the first time since it had it's tune-up and "going over". The dogs liked having a clearing in the back and the driveway came out real nice. After a hearty breakfast, we both went outside to clean things up and get rosy cheeks in the O degree weather. We got our "card lists" going and are sending out Christmas cards today too. Holiday lights on through the home, nibbling on treats, listening to carols on the radio.... good times indeed. Looking forward to more visiting with family and friends, there's always something fun to do. We'll be baking more cookies soon too.
As our "hit counter" goes up, please leave a Holiday Note in the comment section or email us. It will be fun to get a message or two from our visitors in Wisconsin and Illinois too! Thanks Bonduel and Streator.
May your Holiday Season become more and more filled with Cheer and Peace!
